‘Lola’s writing ... makes me embrace feeling like a dreamer.’ — Zoé Samudzi, co-author of As Black as Resistance
Join Hajar Press, Lola Olufemi and Imani Robinson at the Feminist Library to celebrate the publication of Experiments in Imagining Otherwise, a breathtaking collection of fragments on the possibility of living differently.
In these playful written experiments, Lola navigates the space between what is and what could be. Weaving together reflections in prose and poetry, this is an exploration of the otherwise, grounded in black feminist scholarship and political organising.
‘EVERY BROKEN WINDOW IS A NEW OPPORTUNITY.
EVERY BURNT EMBER IS CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL.’
