Brick by Brick: Discussion and Q&A

An invitation for those who have read, begun to read, or intend to read Brick by Brick: How We Build A World Without Prisons by Cradle Community, published by Hajar Press.

Join us for an evening hosted by the authors to discuss your thoughts on the book, prison abolition and transformative justice with other readers. The event will feature an introduction by Cradle Community, followed by breakout rooms to discuss amongst yourselves, as well as a Q&A.

This event will be hosted on Zoom. We will be joined by Deborah, who will be our British Sign Language interpreter for the evening. Please contact us to let us know if there are further ways we can make this event more accessible to you.

Cradle Community is an abolitionist collective of facilitators, organisers and artists based in the UK, making space for curiosity, compassion and creativity. In their mission to build a world with transformative justice responses to violence, they are dedicated to developing the skills we need to support radical approaches to collective care and healing in our communities. Brick by Brick is their first book.

Hajar Press is an independent political publishing house run by and for people of colour.
