On Prisons, Borders and Abolition

  • BSix College Kenninghall Road London, E5 8BP United Kingdom (map)

Join Pages of Hackney and Knowledge is Power for a crucial discussion about the harms perpetuated by prisons and borders, and about the struggles for their abolition.

Featuring Cradle Community (authors of Brick by Brick: How We Build a World Without Prisons) and Gracie Mae Bradley & Luke de Noronha (authors of Against Borders: The Case for Abolition).

The Knowledge is Power programme at BSix is a parallel curriculum of events and workshops to discuss some of the major issues facing society and young people today.

All proceeds after costs from this event will directly support Hackney Migrant Centre, and we encourage you to make an additional donation when booking tickets if you can. We will be accepting in-person donations for HMC on the night also, and both books are available to pre-purchase for collection at the event.

Visit the Pages of Hackney website to book tickets.
